Request a Large Part Machining Quote

Tell us about the part. We reply within 24 business hours with matched shops.

What happens next

  1. We review your RFQ

We check the envelope, weight, material and the tolerance you asked for. If something is missing we ask before we match.

  2. We match up to 3 shops

Only shops whose table, travel and crane take a part this size, and whose process steps cover what the part needs.

  3. Shops quote you directly

You compare quotes and order from the shop you choose. Nothing passes through us.

What to send with it

  • A STEP or IGES model, plus a PDF drawing with datums and the tolerances that matter
  • Overall envelope and finished weight, even if the drawing already shows them
  • Whether the blank is a weldment, casting, forging or solid stock, and who supplies it
  • Any process steps beyond machining, such as stress relief, heat treatment, painting or balancing
  • The delivery city or port, because oversized freight can change the landed price
The single most useful line in a large part RFQ. It decides which shops can take it at all.
Oversized freight can cost more than the machining, so we factor it into the match.
